Common Wealth Credit Union is an integral part of the communities we work in. We donate both time and money to countless local organizations. CWCU employees can be seen at hometown happenings all year round, we sponsor various teams and help build facilities. We take pride in returning our profits to our members and helping our province grow. In 2007, we gave over $500,000 to numerous teams, facilities and organizations including the Athabasca Multiplex, the Barrhead Minor Hockey Provincial Tournament, the Dewberry Chuck wagon Races, the Edmonton Motorcycle Ride for Dad Prostate Cancer Fundraiser, the Fairview Rotary “Good for Kids” Golf Tournament, Grande Prairie’s Miss School Miss Out program, the North Peace Stampede in Grimshaw, the Common Wealth Centre in Lloydminster, the Provost Handi-Van, the Westlock & District 4H and the Arthur & Jean Millar Centre in Whitecourt.
